Dinner around the World – Kubri – Lebanese

Kubri is a contemporary Lebanese restaurant in Paris’s 11th arrondissement that has quickly become one of the city’s most celebrated spots for Levantine cuisine. Chef Rita Higgins is a Franco-Lebanese chef who trained at Le Cordon Bleu after working as a nurse in Beirut and cooking at the Lebanese embassy in Japan.

The restaurant offers modern Lebanese food built around a mezze-style sharing format. The menu features four varieties of house-made hummus (including versions with za’atar and dukkah, mushrooms, octopus, or confit egg yolk) alongside an extensive selection of small plates and a few larger family-style dishes designed for sharing.
